Long before talkies, Denver’s Marie Osborne already owned the screen. Born November 5, 1911, she stepped into fantasy at six, stealing hearts as Milady o’ the Beanstalk and doubling the mischief in Twin Kiddies. Half a century later she slipped, almost anonymously, into The Godfather Part II, proof that a pioneer never really leaves the spotlight. Along the way she collected two surnames—first Murray F. Yeats, then Frank J. Dempsey—yet kept her sparkle intact.
