Biography
Marie Weirman stepped before the camera when movies still smelled of fresh paint and nitrate: in 1914 she traded the gas-lit stage for Fanny’s Melodrama, then, without pausing for breath, slipped straight into two 1915 releases—first the antebellum swirl of Under Southern Skies and, months later, the chiselled pathos of The Marble Heart.
