Biography
Before the world learned to talk in pictures, Mary Gray stepped in front of the camera twice and left two silent sparks behind. In 1914 she slipped into The Last Volunteer, and two years later she surfaced again in Destiny’s Toy—after which she vanished, letting the film reels keep whatever secrets she never told.
