Biography
Mary Haines stepped in front of the camera just as Hollywood was learning to walk. In 1915 she surfaced in Graft, then slipped into The Golden Boots the following year, and by 1917 had sailed straight into A Pirate Bold—three swift, silent bursts that flickered across nickelodeon screens before she vanished back into private life.
