Matheson Lang was born on 15 May 1879 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. He was an actor and writer, known for Drake the Pirate (1935), Carnival (1921) and Dick Turpin's Ride to York (1922). He was married to Nellie Hutin Britton. He died on 11 April 1948 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
