Biography
Matilde Granillo stepped before the camera when Italian cinema was still inventing its own grammar, and three silent-era classics still carry her trace: the biblical epic Christus (1914), the murder-by-goblet thriller La coppa avvelenata (1915), and the time-spanning melodrama La donna di trent’anni (1920).
