Biography
Metodi Stanoev first flickered across Bulgarian screens in 1915 as the star of *Balgaran e galant*, the country’s first-ever feature film, setting a national milestone before the century had even found its footing. Thirty-one years later he stepped before the camera again, this time as the dragon-loving son in *Mene me, mamo, zmey lyubi* (1946), bridging two eras of Bulgarian cinema with the same quiet authority.
