Biography
Before talkies had found their voice, Mia Theodorescu had already fixed hers to celluloid: she stepped into the flickering world of 1914’s *Cetatea Neamţului* when Romanian cinema itself was still scaffolding, then resurfaced thirteen years later in *Lia*, book-ending the silent era with only two roles yet enough magnetism to keep her name alive in the flicker of projectors long after the screens went dark.
