Biography
Milada Smoliková never achieved the fame her husband Frantisek Smolik enjoyed in film. She was better known on the Czech stage, working, in the early part of the 20th century, with some of the most innovative Czech directors and theatre companies of the day. Both she and her husband became members of the National Theatre in Prague. Ms. Smoliková died 11 months after her husband.
