Biography
Six days into 1910, England greeted Milly Terriss, a girl who would grow up to haunt the flickering edges of early cinema. At only four she stepped before the cameras in *The Chimes*, ringing in 1914 with her first on-screen presence; the next year she slipped into *The Pursuing Shadow*, chasing—and being chased—through the flickers of 1915.
