Biography
Before the world learned to talk in talkies, Mimi Yvonne was already speaking fluent cinema: in 1914 she begged for Union soldiers’ mercy as the waif of *The Littlest Rebel*, the following year she bowed a haunted violin in *Kreutzer Sonata*, and by 1916 she was tangling with sibling scandal in *Her Wayward Sister*.
