Biography
Before the world knew her as Mrs. Allen Walker, she stepped into the flicker of early cinema and left three lightning-bolts behind: in 1914 she glided through Neptune’s Daughter, then in rapid succession she tore across The Clemenceau Case and Kreutzer Sonata, both released in 1915. Each role was a brief, bright comet in the silent sky, and then—darkness.
