Biography
Before neon ruled the streets, Murray Belmont held Broadway’s attention in The Yellow Traffic (1914), a silent one-reel race against a crimson signal. Eight years later, on 15 October 1922, the lights dimmed for good in Manhattan, the city that had first watched him dart across the screen.
