Biography
A Boston native born on July 25, 1857, Nat C. Goodwin carved out a legacy as a versatile talent during the dawn of the motion picture industry. He commanded the screen in early milestones such as the 1912 production of 'Oliver Twist,' as well as 'Business Is Business' (1915) and 'The Marriage Bond' (1916). His life away from the spotlight was just as bustling, seeing him wed five times to Eliza Weatherby, Nellie Baker Pease, Maxine Elliott, Edna Goodrich, and Marjorie Moreland. After a life lived in the public eye, Goodwin drew his final breath in New York City on January 31, 1919.
