Biography

Nell Holman was an actress from the early 1900s until the late 20s She worked for Balboa Film Company in Long Beach, California, Her husband, Bill Holman, was a camera operator for Balboa, her son Bobby Holman was a child star for Balboa as well, Together they worked in "the Red Circle" series staring Ruth Roland and "Wildcats" staring Jackie Saunders. Nell was the first actress to fly in an airplane, her childhood friend Earl S. Daugherty became a stunt pilot and she took several "thrill rides" as did her son Bobby.
