Biography
Philadelphia welcomed Olive Wyndham on 16 June 1886, and the footlights soon welcomed her back. She stepped before the camera just as cinema found its voice, lending her presence to the suffrage-pageant film Your Girl and Mine in 1914 and, a year later, to the naval drama Fighting Bob. Fifty-seven years after those first flickers hit the screen, she took her final bow, quietly, in Santa Monica, California, on 24 November 1971.
