Biography
In 1889, Page Peters stepped into the world just as the flicker of moving pictures was catching fire. By 1915 he had slipped in front of the camera for The Gentleman from Indiana, and within a year he was back on-screen twice more—steering Madame la Presidente and answering The Call of the Cumberlands. The reels were still spinning when, on 22 June 1916, the tide claimed him on the shores of Hermosa Beach, California; he was twenty-seven.
