Popi Megoula

Biography

Popi Megoula was a Greek actress known for her work in musical theatre, operetta, revue, and comedy. Born in Athens to actors Nikos Megoulas and Sapfo Alkaiou, she joined the Greek Actors' Union (SEI) in 1919. She made her stage debut in 1925 with the operetta troupe of Iosif Ritsiardis and subsequently worked with leading theatrical companies, including those of Manos Katrakis, Dimitris Myrat, and Dinos Iliopoulos. Her career spanned numerous operettas and revue productions, making her a prominent figure in mid-20th century Greek musical theatre.
