Rafael Frontaura was born on 7 February 1896 in Valparaiso, Chile. He was an actor and writer, known for El hombre de acero (1917), La última trasnochada (1925) and The Strange Case of the Man and the Beast (1951). He was married to María Cristina Yañez Gumucio. He died on 15 August 1966 in Santiago, Chile.
