Biography
Copenhagen welcomed Ragnhild Sannom on a winter’s day, 22 December 1896, and the city’s lantern-lit stages soon beckoned her. Before she turned twenty she had already faced the camera for I Storm og Stille (1915), followed by the courtroom drama Blind Justice (1916). After a two-decade pause she resurfaced in 1939 as the neighbor everyone loved to hate in Genboerne. Her final curtain fell on 8 August 1953, leaving a compact filmography that still flickers with early Nordic cinema’s fire.
