Biography
Ralph Kellard entered the world on 16 June 1882 amid the clang and clamor of New York City streets, and those same streets echoed his farewell on 5 February 1955. Between those two Manhattan moments he built a life onstage and on-screen: trading secrets in 1915’s Her Mother’s Secret, chasing a troublesome package through 1916’s The Precious Parcel, and crisscrossing the globe in 1930’s Women Everywhere. Off-camera, the leading man who could play everything from adventurer to romantic foil shared his life with actress Rebecca Lee Dorsey, the woman who stood beside him once the lights dimmed.
