Biography
Ralph Stewart stepped in front of the camera only once, but it was enough to secure a footnote in history: in 1914 he appeared in Hearts of Oak, a silent one-reel drama that unspooled in nickelodeons while Europe marched toward war. No other credits followed; the tide of flickering images carried him away as quickly as it had swept him in, leaving only that single celluloid ghost to speak for him.
