Biography
Emerging from the industrial landscape of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 28, 1864, Robert Wayne eventually traded the East Coast for the burgeoning lights of cinema. A veteran of the early screen, he is remembered for his performances in the 1916 productions 'The Witch' and 'A Man of Sorrow,' as well as his transition into the era of 'Fashions in Love' (1929). His personal journey included marriages to Lena (Magdalena) Hill and Carrie Wayne. After a life spanning over eight decades, Wayne passed away in Los Angeles, California, on September 26, 1946.
