Biography
Before the jazz age had a name, Runa Hodges was already flickering across nickelodeon screens: first as the vamp who lured men to ruin in A Fool There Was (1915), then as the woman reflected ad infinitum in The House of Mirrors (1916), and again in the same year’s The Unfaithful Wife. Three films, three quick turns through the candle-lit corridors of early Hollywood, and she vanished—leaving only the light of the projector to remember her by.
