Biography
Hailing from Austria, Sheridan Block entered the world in 1853. An actor by profession, he carved out a presence on screen, notably in the 1914 feature The Sign of the Cross, followed by The Soul of Broadway and The Two Orphans, both released in 1915. Block shared his life with fellow actress Emma Hershfield, who also went by the stage name Emma Field. His life concluded on April 9, 1921, in New York, New York, USA.
