Biography
Born under the Copenhagen sun on 12 May 1865, Sophus Erhardt stepped before the camera in the wild-west days of Danish cinema: he hunted the priceless gem in *Doctor Nicholson and the Blue Diamond* (1913), lit up the screen in *The Firefly* the same year, then descended into the shadowy vaults of *Borgkælderens mysterium* (1914). The curtain fell for the last time on 6 March 1927.
