Sun-Young Kim was born on 9 April 1914 in Ch'ongjong-ri, Unjon County, North Pyongan province, Korea, Empire of Japan [now North Korea]. She was an actress, known for Aleumda-un huisaeng (1933), Jackals (1956) and A Hometown in Heart (1949). She was married to Chun-myung Park. She died on 29 July 1995 in Pyongyang, North Korea.
