Biography
On 11 November 1879, Maryland welcomed Thomas Delmar into the world—a man who would grow up to trade quiet Atlantic coast breezes for the klieg-lit whirl of silent-era Hollywood. Between 1915 and 1925 he spun stories and stepped before the camera, lending his pen and presence to the short romp Those Kids and Cupid, the sagebrush saga The Rainbow Trail, and the rip-roaring The Wyoming Wildcat. Off-screen, he shared his life with Laura Delmar, his partner in every reel and real adventure. The final curtain fell on 3 June 1952 in Los Angeles, but the flickers he helped create still dance across forgotten screens.
