Biography
On 10 May 1861, Cambridge, Massachusetts, welcomed Thomas E. Shea into the world. Behind the camera and occasionally in front of it, he guided the 1914 sea yarn *The Man o' War's Man* to the screen. Off-set, he shared life with actress Nellie Burkett. Nearly eight decades after his first Cambridge sunrise, he drew his last breath in the same city on 22 April 1940.
