Biography
Born beneath the iron-ore skies of Norberg on 24 May 1863, Thure Holm traded the hush of Västmanland forests for the flicker of early Swedish cinema. Between 1916 and 1924 he stalked the screen—first as the fatal embrace in *Kiss of Death*, then the vengeful shepherd of *The Outlaw and His Wife*, and finally the wily rogue opposite a one-eyed heroine in *Halta Lena och Vindögda Per*. The cameras stopped rolling eight years before his own final curtain fell in Stockholm on 27 October 1932.
