Biography
In the chill of a Scottish winter, on 11 January 1863, Tom Nawn embarked on his life's journey. As a thespian, he would go on to captivate audiences with his performances in films such as the 1915 comedy Keep Moving and the 1917 drama Their Husband. His most notable role, however, was in the 1926 cinematic masterpiece, The General. After a lifetime of bringing characters to life, Tom Nawn's own story came to a close on 8 February 1949, in the sunny city of Norwalk, California, a world away from his birthplace.
