Ushangi Chkheidze was born on 27 November 1898 in village Puti, Shorapani uyezd, Kutaisi Governorate, Russian Empire [now Zestafoni Municipality, Imereti, Republic of Georgia]. He was an actor, known for Komunaris chibukhi (1929), Narindjis veli (1937) and Qarishkhlis tsin (1924). He died on 1 December 1953 in Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR.
