Biography
Born beneath the spring skies of 11 April 1885, Vilhelm Hansson stepped onto the silent-era stage and let the camera ink his legacy. Three reels still carry his echo: the vengeful shadows of *Hämnaren* in 1915, the marching fireside verses of *Fänrik Ståls sägner* eleven years later, and the royal intrigue of *Gustaf Wasa del II* in 1928. When the final curtain fell on 18 November 1948, the projectors dimmed, but the frames he haunted keep flickering.
