Biography
Emerging from Buffalo, New York, in 1884, Violet Stuart established herself as a versatile talent of the silent era, making her mark as both a writer and an actress. She is best remembered for her roles in the 1912 adaptation of Richard III, the 1914 production The Land of the Lost, and the 1915 drama The Game of Three. Stuart, who was the wife of Leon Wagner, spent her final years in the sunshine of Pinellas, Florida, where she passed away in October 1968.
