Biography
Born under the wide Nebraska sky on 24 July 1886, Walter Fenner first drew breath in the tiny railroad stop of Humphrey. He spent his life slipping into other people’s skins on-screen, tangling with The Shanghai Cobra in 1945, guarding the secrets of Lost Angel two years earlier, and trading punches with G-Men vs. The Black Dragon that same wartime season. His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 7 November 1947, leaving the cameras rolling without him.
