Biography
In 1915, while the world was still learning to speak in moving pictures, ten-year-old Will Sherrill Jr. stepped in front of the camera for “The Fairy and the Waif,” trading a North-Carolina childhood for a one-reel daydream of sprites and street urchins. When the last frame flickered out, so did his brief moment on-screen—no follow-up roles, no fanfare—leaving only that single, silent fairy tale to carry his name through a century of flicker and fade.
