Biography
A Stockholm winter welcomed William Larsson in 1873, and by the flicker of early cinema he was already shaping stories behind and in front of the camera. In 1922 he guided audiences through the longing glances of Kärlekens ögon, then book-ended 1925 with back-to-back releases: first the domestic tug-of-war För hemmet och flickan, quickly followed by the domestic-upending Bröderna Östermans huskors. One year later, 1926 closed the curtain on his life, leaving three films as bright, brief evidence of the tales he dared to tell.
