Biography
Louisville, Kentucky, greeted the world with William Mandeville in 1867. By 1915 he had stepped before the cameras, lending his presence to *Her Husband’s Honor*, followed swiftly by *The Girl Who Didn’t Think* and *The Call of Her People*, both released in 1917. Off-screen, he shared his life with actress Frances Calver. Barely two months after his final film reached theaters, Mandeville’s own curtain fell in New York City on 19 April 1917.
