Biography
A winter-baby from Canada, William Quinn arrived on 13 December 1884 and grew up to trade snow for spotlight. Between 1916 and 1921 he slipped in front of the camera three memorable times: first as the tormented lead in *Drugged Waters*, next bringing *Lavinia Comes Home* to life the same year, and finally settling in at *KingFisher’s Roost* half a decade later. Off-screen he pledged his heart to Josephine Lucetta Powers, and nearly eight decades after his first breath he drew his last among the oak-covered hills of Glen Ellen, California, on 12 November 1965.
