Biography
In 1914, while Europe’s attention was fixed on marching armies, William Rölling stepped in front of the camera twice: first to unravel a clandestine will in *Salainen perintömääräys*, then to complicate a marriage in *Se kolmas*. Those twin performances—captured in Finland’s silent winter—are the footprints he left on film history.
