Biography
Before the talkies ever cleared their throats, Willy Lengling had already whispered his way into cinema history: in 1913 he stepped before the camera for Der Andere, returned the following year to haunt the second installment of Die blaue Maus, and by 1922 had slipped into the title role of Mignon, leaving silent footprints that still echo.
