Biography
On 13 April 1883, Minneapolis greeted its newest resident: Winthrop Chamberlain. Within three swift years he traded Minnesota winters for the flicker of early Hollywood lamps, stepping before the camera as the battle-scarred mercenary in *Soldiers of Fortune* (1914), then as the lovesocialite in *Marrying Money* (1915), while also chasing a torn love letter across the reels of *The Other Half of the Note* that same debut year.
