Biography
Agnes Fletcher Bain slipped into celluloid history three times: first as the force behind 1915’s muscle-bound fantasy *Marvelous Maciste*, then summoning shadows for 1917’s *The Mystic Hour*, and finally cloaking continents in 1920’s cloak-and-dagger romance *Sophy of Kravonia; or, the Virgin of Paris*.
