Biography
Alexander Vichetos stepped in front of the camera just as Swedish silent film was finding its stride, leaving his silhouette in two one-reelers: the 1915 thriller Dolken, where shadows chased him through Stockholm’s dockyards, and 1916’s Lyckonålen, a darkly comic morality tale whose title translates to “The Needle of Happiness.” After those brief, flickering appearances, he dissolved back into anonymity—no further reels, no later credits—his entire cinematic legacy compressed into those two pre-war winters.
