Biography
Long before the talkies took over, Vienna’s Charly Mettinger was already flickering across the screen: first as the spice-sweet heart-throb in 1917’s Das Paprikaliebchen, then as the pint-sized aristocrat of 1918’s Der kleine Baron, and finally trading royal robes for daydreams in 1919’s Anna mit’n Flimmerfimmel.
