Biography
Edwin Carewe, 38 and twice a husband already—his first wedding in 1905 survives only as a rumor without a paper trail—spared no time courting 17-year-old Mary Akin. Their first union delivered two children: Sally Ann arrived in 1925, William followed in 1927. After a split and a re-match, the couple completed the trio with Carol Lee, born 1932.
