Biography
A native of New York City born on June 14, 1891, Elaine S. Carrington established herself as a versatile creative force during the formative years of cinema. As a writer and director, she was the visionary behind productions such as 1916’s The Path of Happiness, the 1920 drama The Inner Voice, and the 1929 film Alibi. Throughout her life and career, she was married to George Dart Carrington. Her journey concluded in the same city where it began, following her death on May 4, 1958.
