Biography
Emerging from Quincy, Illinois, on April 30, 1892, Frank Mitchell Dazey spent his life weaving narratives for the silver screen. As both a writer and editor, he became a key architect of early Hollywood storytelling, leaving his mark on films like the 1922 maritime drama Shadows of the Sea, the high-octane The Devil Is Driving (1932), and the mid-thirties classic Nobody's Fool (1936). He navigated the industry alongside his wife, Agnes Christine Johnston, until his final curtain call in Hollywood on June 16, 1970.
