Biography
Emerging from Harrison, New York, on July 30, 1861, Harrison Grey Fiske became a distinctive voice in early 20th-century storytelling. While his creative fingerprint is most notably preserved in the 1915 film The District Attorney, his personal life was equally intertwined with the theater through his marriage to the celebrated Minnie Maddern Fiske. After a lifetime dedicated to his craft, Fiske passed away in the heart of New York City on September 3, 1942.
