Biography
Jacques Burg flickered across the earliest screens of German cinema, slipping from one century into the next. In 1914 he stepped before the camera for The Pride of the Firm, returned the following year as the mischievous spark of Teufelchen, and capped the silent-to-sound transition with 1931’s company-boardroom comedy Die Firma heiratet—three titles that still carry his name through the archives.
